[ It takes a moment before he answers, mostly because he's trying to dump some of the water out of the device. It's making it hard to hear properly - They were apparently not meant to be submerged. ]

I am currently investigating the caves.

[ Well, that certainly is surprising.

How something this large managed to get aboard this ship would typically boggle his logic circuits, if not for the fact he was standing in a water filled cave aboard a sea-faring vessel.

He straightens up for a moment, instintively reaching for a weapon which was no longer there. With nowhere to move to, he stands very still, watching its progress - Whatever the shadow was, he hoped it did not have a taste for metal. ]
