I am not fool enough to charge into a situation unprepared, unlike a particular comrade of mine. He has more armor than processor at times, though he is a good soldier; which I am fairly sure is the only reason he came out of this situation still functioning.
Unless the Captain chooses to deal with him, I am afraid I cannot allow him to continue harming others aboard this vessel. It is in my programming to protect life from all threats - which he is quickly becoming.

I have met him - I understand what you are speaking of.
You must trust that the Captain will deal with him. He will not get away with this unpunished, but if you value your life, and that of your comrade, I must ask you again to let it go for now.
This will only continue a circle, and he will retaliate again if you move against him.
I will speak with him. [Again. She is rapidly getting very angry with all of this.]
Knowing Ironhide as I do, he would not attack a human without reason. Unless you have provoked him in the past with violent actions, he would not have acted against you - just as I would not.
However, I have witnessed the damage you caused to my comrade, and if the Captain should take mercy on you, be sure that I will not.

By all means, if you can resolve this without violence, I would prefer it. However, I will not stand by idly if he continues to present a threat.
My faith in the Captain is quite limited, and his brand of justice is less than desirable.

The situation did not involve him. He should've minded his distance and his own business.
Good. Keep your mercy. I have no need of it. If you wish to retaliate, then I welcome it. I cannot say you will walk away from this should you do so.
