Being a purely nocturnal creature, Tanner tended to value his time. It didn't make sense to him, how so many of the other licks could regard theirs so casually--all the time in the world, sure, except with that attitude and only so many hours at a stretch, you can't get shit done. Maybe he wouldn't feel that way if he didn't have a regular job
