I think some of us should copy this email to the complete and utter dickheads who stood around posing for pics for the USAFE site, telling us all in graphic detail how they got ' aroused' at the sight of their handiwork winging its way down the runway at Fairford

Had a message from a dear friend in Oregon USA. We haven't spoken in a while, because we disagreed so bitterly about the wrong, the so tragically very wrong 'operation' in Afghanistan. She wrote to me a day or so ago. I hope she doesn't mind that I put a snippet of her mail here, where I think it will do some good

We've all seen Iraq Body Count, which doesn't count the military, and that's up to 6118 -7136 at time of writing. Absolutely bloody outrageous. Rageh Omar was wittering on about 'when the war broke out'. NO IT DIDN'T, Rageh !!!

I don't yet know who is charting Iraqi invasion resister deaths, they seem somehow irrelevant in both of these sets of scorings. Delete the 'enemy'? Where are the soldier boys we blombed to death, then? Anyone know their names?
