LOL White Rabbit sweet are part of nearly every Asian's childhood. But the milk thing is scary. Especially what I've heard from Singapore, since we used to import tons of food from China... it's difficult in a small country with not enough land to have farms or grow crops. It's not so bad here in Australia though~
Yes, that is completely true about the milk candy. ;____; Despite that it has probably poisoned me, I'm already beginning to miss it.
I heard the same about Singapore and a couple of other Asian countries, too. D: This is the thing about China being so big on exports: When their products go wrong, there is often a ripple effect that affects other countries that may not be as prepared to cope with the effects.
<333 I will certainly try. The thing is, before I knew about the melamine, I ate a ton of this stuff. Paranoia strikes down hard at times like these. ;___;
Oh, god. DDD: I will have to hmmmm on this for a while.
that sucks. ==;; I've never had those candies before...but all the other Asian sweets I've had are really addictive. XDD;; I think I mostly eat ones from Japan or Taiwan though.
Yes, I would totally agree that Asian sweets are addictive. XD I've had some candy from Japan, and I love them, but they're just much more expensive than all the other Asian sweets for one reason or another. D:
