Ok, so the last few days have been pretty damn annoying. As none of you know around last November I went in for a pre-op for nose surgery. This was about the third time I have seen doctors for it until I could find somebody that would do it and cover it through insurance(Deviated Septum blahblah) So a few months pass as I wait for the insurance

I would vote pastries, but only because pastries are...sweet, and tasty.
Aside from that, I guess it depends on whether you want your own place, or join up with some restaurant/cafe/bakery/catering service. Good luck with whatever you choose - I've known some really talented/cool line cooks if you want to consider that too.

I'd say try and learn as many things as you can if you decide to go the culinary path. Depending on where you live, it can be pretty competitive with little job security. Most places look at experience too so it might be difficult finding a job since people might be hesitant to give you a chance.
