Have you checked out Stevenson College in Edinburgh? Perhaps you could finally try that photography course, plus some others you might enjoy, then reapply next year?

(Seriously, I'd never considered going to school anywhere but locally, even though I filled out stuff for colleges all over the US, so it wasn't an issue for me. But stripping pays better than most degrees anyway.)
