Lol I was cracking up each time Bane talked too! He was a mix of Sean Connery and Ian McKellen and yes, we pulled the SNL jokes out too. XD

I had the same exact thoughts re: the bomb and contamination. That was pretty sloppy on Nolan's part for sure. And I can definitely see Juno Temple as Harley Quinn.

I saw it at midnight and thought it was just me, most of my friends loved it, but I was not overly impressed, the previous one left me expecting too much.

I didn't hate it but I didn't love it either. It was kinda just...there... And afterward, I could only keep thinking about how many plotholes there were in the movie - not just the bomb but also with Bruce's broken back and the miracle rope cure and hello, didn't he get stabbed in the back by Miranda? what the fuck happened with that? another miraculous cure??? SMH

I didn't see the bad guy twist either. Bane's voice didn't bother me.

OTOH, the whole nuke within shouting distance of NYC Gotham with no ill effects made me go WTF on a cracker?

I was actually not surprised by the final twist because I was a big fan of the Batman cartoon as a kid and remembered that Ra's al Ghul had a daughter.

I could not take Bane seriously as a bad guy whenever he talked. I think the only time I found him truly frightening was the big fight scene in the sewers especially when he broke Batman's back. When that happened somebody in the theater yelled out "OH DAMN!!!!!"
