I didn't really picture anybody to play Beetee when I was reading the book - just a random dude in glasses who played with wires. :P

The only character I had a clear vision for was Finnick and...well...you know the rest...

Hmmm...that's actually not a bad choice to play Beetee. I guess they couldn't get him? Or something????

I just really REALLY like Jeffrey Wright. I love him and his acting is always on point -- at least for me, it is.... :P

I haven't seen anything he was in.
I always pictured Beetee to be a skinny, Indian guy in his 50s. But I'm not pissed with this casting.

I first saw him Basquiat and he was awesome. If you're into biopics of artists who die young, I would recommend that movie. If not, he plays Felix Leiter (the CIA agent) in the new Bond movies. He played the bad guy in Shaft and Martin Luther King in Boycott.

IDK understand people: they complain about how whitewashed the casting has been and when they do cast somebody of color, the real asshole behavior comes out to play. :|
