If you have access to an elliptical machine I reccomend it for knee extension. Keep the resistance at 0 or 1 but gradually increase the crossramp. It helps extend your knees and legs without requiring a lot of force.

ooh i do have an eliptical. my chiropractor (this was 2 weeks ago admittedly and i've improved much since) was saying to walk and lightly jog on my treadmill with no incline, so i'm probably a little past the 'no incline' point.

have you ever had significant knee injuries? this is my first, and while it's technically minor compared to some...it's freaked me out a bit.

When I was 16 I destroyed the cartilage in my right knee from gymnastics. I had to have cartilage injections (which hurt so bad) and was on crutches for 3 months and had awful PT. The elliptical was a big part in getting my knee better.
