So, did anyone else go to that new shop around town? Camera Obscura, I think it was called. Can’t place my finger on it, but the name sounds familiar, to be honest! I think it was a song or something like that... I don’t know, but the shop is kind of cool. It’s got a lot of weird junk in it, but I don’t know ( Read more... )

[He's wherever Amy is, because hanging out with Amy is cool.]

Think I'll be visiting that place more often, don't you? [He bought an old book and some other nick-nacks which are stuck in his pockets now.

And also a bowler hat with an Ace of Hearts card stuck in it.]

I think so, I mean, why not? Was neat! Clerk was a bit, I dunno, shady- but that almost made the place cooler.

[ also she's ignoring the hat because it looks ever so ridiculous. ]

I think everything in the East part of the city is shady.

[Don't even. Don't. Even. This hat is cool. >:| ]

Feels like we're tourists though, doesn't it? All we're missing is an umbrella and some good socks and obnoxious clicking cameras. Oh! And sunglasses.

[After which he promptly removes a pair and puts them on, only to give Amy a very dashing smile.

Okay, he looks extremely ridiculous what is this even.]

That's what makes the East part of the city cool.

[ CAN WE GO BACK DOCTOR? IT'S AWESOME THERE /PUPPY LOOK ]

Kind of, but we're almost always tourists anyway. [ pfff. is there nothing you don't have in those pockets, Doctor? ]

Hey, I need shades too. Maybe there's a store with them around here or something... Do they even have shades in this "time" or whatever?

It's an interesting shop, to say the least. I think I like the stuff they've got there, and it might be worth spending time around. I'd like to find out more about it. Have you seen the shop owner? The man running the show there didn't seem so keen on discussing anything about him; I got the impression that he wanted to keep something from us.

A lot of people want to keep things from people; especially nosy blokes and birds. I didn't really much care about the guy running the place, was more interested in the stuff in there. You think there's something to him, though? Kind of presumptuous...

Maybe he was just a private kind of guy.

That's certainly possible. I'll admit that I probably am being presumptuous here, because I'm suspicious of everything about this place just by default. I don't want to overlook anything that could potentially be useful.

Have you managed to accomplish anything?

Useful how? You think a bloke in a shop with shrunken heads is going to be the key to getting out of here? If it were that simple I think someone would have figured it out by now.

Accomplish anything meaning what?

Yeah, as soon as I heard of it I went over right away! To be honest, most of the stuff there are just curiosities, though.

Sure! But that's what makes them cool, don't you think?

Well, it's more interesting! The guy at the counter's got a pretty gloomy aura to him, but he seemed more businesslike unlike certain other shopkeeps I've met!

Gloomy? Yeah, I guess that's a good word for the guy. He just seemed private to me; not that I care really. I just wanted the necklace thing I bought.

Oh yeah? What other shopkeeps you met that you don't like? I haven't been into many of 'em yet.
