Can't believe I have failed to LJ this but I totes got the job that I really really really wanted! I was desperate for it, got really depressed when I hadn't heard anything by the time I had expected to. Then they emailed to say that I would hear later than expected and so hope was alive again. Finally got a phone call from them while I was out, so

HOLY CRAP, MEL!!!! THAT'S AWESOME!!! Sorry I'm just seeing this now, but CONGRATS!!! So glad it all worked out! (That's a lot of exclamation points. LOL) My cousin who went to Howard University for law school recently got her dream job. She's working as a civil rights lawyer in Montgomery, AL, which is THE place to be a civil rights lawyer.
