BEST chapter yet. The humor and potential just crackle! I seriously want this to last a very long time and get really intimate...emotionally and physically. You write so well. Beautifully chosen words mixed with inteligence. Perfect in my eyes.
and...Pallas Athena! That was brilliant connection."Dayum and double dayum!" indeed.

LOL. Thank you. LIAB *WILL* last a long time. And fair warning ... it will be a *long* time until it gets all Mirandy -- about six months in their time. I'll try to throw in some flashforwards now and then to keep everyone from expiring, but both Andy and Miranda are going to have to work their way through some things before embracing a relationship so different than any they've had before ... or at least different than they have *allowed* themselves to have.

A little more on Wednesday (with links to more recipes!) to give Andy a chance to figure out a thing or two ... then I'll be off for a while to fill more notebooks with ideas. Thanks for the very encouraging feedback. That goes a long way to keeping this fun.

Of course it has to evolve. 6 months is perfect. They are radically changing and as a great author, you understand the foundation must be solid. That Miranda applied that salve to Andy's arm was "one small step for mirandy" I can wait for the "giant leap", as I know you will land them on solid ground.
Have I said how much I love punny Miranda?

Where's the LIKE button? LOL. And yes, a small step for mirandy. Step by step I'll get them ready for the leap.

Yikes. Dragon Lady on the warpath. I'm glad Andy was able to defuse the situation.
I feel sorry for Miranda. She knows her kids have issues, but I get the feeling she is a bit overwhelmed dealing with those issues. I hope Andy and her backup (Rosalind and Lucille) can make a difference.
I wonder if the difference between a strike and a foul ball will come up?
Thanks for the read.

For jah728 -- couldn't make this appear in the right spot, but it's for *you*!

Ooh, foul ball! Excellent idea! Most excellent! (Scribbling madly in notebook, adding note to "make it so!")

And yes, Andy might be out of her comfort zone with the nanny stuff, but she does have Rosalind and Lucille to offer advice -- not to mention her mom and Doug and Lily. She's going to need them all ... and some others besides. With these kids -- Cassidy in particular -- it very well may "take a village." And a few whacks upside the head.

More on Wednesday and then off for a bit to write what needs to be written.

I think it's very likely that Cassidy will give Andy a reason to be more forthcoming about the first situation during the first week or so of Andy Camp. Because she's just the kind of kid who won't leave well enough alone. She's not ready to make nice, even if she doesn't know why.

And yes, Miranda: Warrior Fashionista!

And yes, Horse Turd is doomed. I just haven't quite decided how or why. LOL.

Thanks so much for the feedback.

Ahhh Athena of the flashing gray eyes!!! Most excellent description of the Goddess that is Miranda. And wooooofff, damn girl you could turn a car on a dime I bet. What a way for Miranda to find out and not fin out and indeed for Andy to find out more of what she might need to actually help the girls.

Ooohhh and the less then blinkered mother of potential society garbage but still with hope that something or someone will appear to help avoid that. Yowser!

I am *so* tempted to find a classic profile of Meryl to attach to the Winged Victory via PhotoShop. I bet the two elements would fit together seamlessly.

Miranda and Andy will have to have a more forthcoming conversation or two at some point. I don't think Cassidy's going to be able to refrain from challenging Andy in some way. And I think Andy's going to discover that kids are ... complicated in the extreme. And devious.
