Early June???

While this has been a sheer delight to read, I understand the time that is invested in writing a great story. Although I would rather not wait because I so look forward to the unfolding of this story, I will wait with bated breath.

Please take my impatience as a compliment because that is what it is.

Gosh, thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed this arc. I'll be back with more in six to eight weeks. In the meantime, I'm sure there will be lots of DWP awesomeness to enjoy. This is a wonderfully creative and prolific and welcoming community.

Say it ain't so! Beautiful characterisation again. I particularly love Miranda because you have nailed her character so completely, making her more than two-dimensional. You can see how Andy would fall in love with her. And I love Andy's silent monologues. They crease me up. You cannot possibly expect us to wait til June, patiently or otherwise.

Thanks SO much for your comment. One of the big challenges in writing from one point of view is making all the major characters three-dimensional even though you can't dip into their thoughts. It's nice to know that Miranda didn't lose too much in the process. It was also very good to be reminded, as I consider switching for a bit to Miranda's POV, that she already has a voice -- expressed in dialogue and gesture.

My gratitude does not, however, extend to moving the timeline up (grin). Mother Nature may have brought blooming lilacs to Minnesota a month ahead of schedule, but her powers are considerably greater than mine. Then again, should a miracle occur, and a story leap from my brow fully formed -- like Athena from the brow of Zeus -- I won't wait to share it. (Start making your sacrifices to the gods ... I suggest Peeps of various shapes and colors.)
