I can't do this. there's too much to do, and not enough time to get it done. On top of that, just thinking about it is enough to make me shake. I don't know what I'm gonna do. Help?
Ok, so I know this is a little late, but if you still have a lot to do, here's my favorite method of attack.
Step 1: Take a deep breath. Step 2: Get a cup of hot cocoa or Jasmine tea. (If you are shaking, hyperventilating etc, go with the Jasmine tea. It's how I subdue panic attacks) Step 3: Take a deep breath. (Breathing is important you know. Lol) Step 4: Make a list (in no particular order) Step 5: Order the list by deadlines. Step 6: For each day sort via difficulty. Step 7: Start with the hardest and work on that for a while, then break with something a little easier. Step 8: Repeat step 7 until list is complete.
NOTE: DO NOT FORGET TO BREATHE DURING THE PROCESS!!! BREATHING IS GOOD FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!!! Space breathing with sips of cocoa and tea for soothing effect and set aside 30 minutes for a hot bath.
Indeed. What is it all that you have to do? Looks to me like you'll be ready to "send" by the end of the week. Look at how much you've accomplished in the last month: the cv is ready to go, your personal statement is together, you have your letter writers (half of whom are done writing), your eras is nearly complete...you've registered for step 2...you're nearly at the waiting period. so unless the "this" is something i don't know about, i think yuo're in better shape than you think. even your step 1 score is a a decent place. I know it's scary, but you seem to being doing it. I'll see if I can identify some other programs for you to choose from. Remember, at this point, it's just getting your application out there. Later you can rank them when you see what you're up against and how you like them. If I could get through Yale, you can get through this. BTW, "Right Now" is my favorite Van Halen song.
