I haven't been to Houston since I was 7, but here's what I know: 1) It's Texas's largest city. 2) There is no zoning. You'll see when you get there. Most people I know dislike houston for this reason. 3) It apparently has a number of great restaurants.
So, what's your budget and what's your travel radius in town? Regardless, I'd recommend getting some TX BBQ and TexMex, just for the experience of it.
Oh, and congrats on passing Step 2CK. Never doubted you would.

or if i end up going to visit stanford and berkeley, and if you wanna tag along for roadtrip (if it works out, vacation-wise) we can go to the one in sunnyvale, ca. the closest one to nj is in north carolina, apparently. it's quite sad. :(
