I've discovered I really like being on my own. I like managing my own time, going where I want. State is getting better day by day, although for now I've steered clear of the party scene

being anti-social totally is not a bad thing. I prefer it the vast majority of the time. The only downside is occasionally my rommmate tries to convince me to go do something with her a her friends, in a way that almost sounds like she pities me? As if me spending a friday night watching tv and talking online is something sad she should save me from, haha. I'm not ashamed of it though. It's how I spent a lot of highschool too, it's low key and relaxing
The article actually went really well, except I sounded extremely uncomfortable and nervous during the interview (I had to play it back afterwords to transcribe it)-- extremely agreeable and laughing when nothing was funny.. My articles since then haven't been as good but I'm working on a piece on vegan/vegetarian food in cafeterias [which made me think of you!].
you had to transcribe your interview afterwords? That'd be awful! Everyone sounds like an idiot when they're trying to get something though (ie. a job)
I've been thinking about working on NMU's newspaper. Maybe next semester I'll apply. Yesterday our cafeteria's vegan option was a large tray of cooked soy beans. Delicious, but that should be a side dish, not a meal
