And the truth is, I have no idea. Here's the situation:

I have a job at Barnes and Nobles. There is not a set schedule. I'm there when they need me. So IN THEORY, I could arrange it so that I work fourty hours in the first five days of week one, and fourty hours in the last five days of week two, and have four days back to back to go to the beach.

But, see, Harry Potter 7 comes out on the 21st. It is required that I be working that night.

And as a full time employee, I'm not allowed to take vacation time until 6 months of employment.

So. I'm going to try to to get maybe July 17-20th back to back. I'll drive up, spend two full days, then drive back. It's (unfortunately) the best I can do with this damn schedule. But who knows? Maybe things will work out better than expected.

Or not. Be prepared for both :x

So yeah, I'll keep you updated. We get our schedules two weeks in advance, so I'll know in, er, a week? So yeah. I'll let you know.

Somebody should tell Barnes and Noble that their vacation policy is lame. A few days is better than none at all, though, and I am in full support of this idea. Let me know when you've got your schedule, and I'll pass it on to Sadie :)
