I tried to use the dishwasher today. You'd think that wouldn't be beyond my capabilities, seeing as I've done it before, but apparently you'd be wrong. Apparently working a dishwasher is a lot more complicated than I thought it was, and I wasn't up to the challenge.

Yeah. Soap suds all over the kitchen floor.

It is! But we don't generally use the dishwasher to clean the floor.

It turns out I put ordinary dish detergent in instead of special dishwasher detergent, and that was the problem. I feel very smart.

My dad did that once. Most amusing Christmas ever. He was taking suds outside by the shovelful.
