aww...what a patient dog! I remember one of my parents' friends had this big black dog that was so much bigger than us kids and yet he was such a sweetheart of a dog. He let us hug and pet him and he'd stand still while we tried to straddle him like a horse. And then he'd crouch down and politely slink out from under us because he wasn't a horse after all. Despite all the bear hugs and tugged ears and tails, he never once snapped at any of us kids.
