maybe they were trying to pour sugar in there? I've heard of people doing that to each other's cars...basically screws over the whole engine 'cause the sugar gets hot and then crystalizes in there...bad news, I say...

yeah, you'd know pretty quick if something were wrong...as far as I know, if you haven't had any problems yet and you've driven it, there shouldn't be anything wrong...
