No joke. It’s a communist thing… no time zones. Even though China is huge, the commies are trying to make every province be on “Beijing time” so when its 8 am here in beijing, chinese people in the western part of the country are supposed to be opening up shop at what would be like 3 am for them. What? Get off work at noon… SWEET
