My first appointment

I was with one of the new guys at the Laurels. It was an hour long. I expected to have to reharsh much of the stuff that I'd rehashed in previous appointments about why I think I'm trans. I was expecting to have to rehash traumatic stuff and feel rather shit at the end of it

Sounds like a positive experience!

I was sitting looking out at the former-Laurels this week during my appointment. I noticed the sign coming in on a separate building half boarded up and dreadful looking. Apparently it's now in Exeter instead. The old place looked really depressing.

CONGRATS!! I'm so glad you seem to have found a good one on your first try. If it doesn't upset you to think about, what's the general timetable for getting medical care look like there? You're in the system now, right? So there shouldn't be anymore unexpected delays?
