Does anyone else watch 'House, MD'?
So epically disappointed with tonight's episode. Yeah, I think it was important to have a lot of the focus be on his hospitalization, but the only other character they brought in was Wilson?! AAAAND had him fall for some other girl, when they SAID that he was all about Cuddy? He didn't even reach out for her.
I would have liked to see some of the reactions from his colleagues. And yeah, maybe they're getting to that, but this episode was long, drawn out, and he didn't need to be released on the first episode. Give us some insight as to how the others are dealing with his absence. Give us ANY glimpse of life at Princeton-Plainsboro, what has Cuddy been up to, does she talk to Wilson about House while he's in there? Why did none of his colleagues visit him while he was at the hospital, or at least Cuddy or Wilson? What are Thirteen and Foreman doing? How are they coping? And Taub? Does he even care? Cameron and Chase? Not that we see a lot of them anymore anyway, but with how close everyone seemed before, and no one showed up? Surely they knew, or at least knew that he was in the hospital or detox or had been admitted? Wilson surely knew, even promised to visit, and didn't? Or maybe they don't know the details, but geez people, some reaction please?
I mean, I love where they went with the episode, but I feel like we're missing huge parts of the story by leaving out the rest of the cast like that. I wouldn't expect them to be on a case and need his help or anything, but this is a drama show right? Let's see the dramatics back with the cast we've been following for 5+ years now.
So I guess I'm just left with a lot of questions, and I'm hoping they'll be answered in the rest of the season, or at least if they're not directly answered, maybe the writers will post some good explanations?
