Ok, I just sent a complaint mail to the railroad company. The first complaint I have ever written in my life. I can't believe there is something that actually made me do this. I've seen footage of Japanese people being jammed into the trains, with people who appear to have the sole purpose of pressing more people into the doors. Yikes! That happens all the time??

Here in Chicago, it's rare for the trains to be so crowded. I've only had that happen to me during major snowstorms. (The trains were delayed and no one wanted to drive.) Of course, Americans would much rather drive than take the train, so that probably has a lot to do with our trains not being so crowded. I take them whenever possible, but our public transit system is nothing compared to Japan's.

wow, and in the news people have been complaining about the rush hour trains in melbourne. i hope everyone wrote a letter to complain. they dont even transport animals like that, its horrible.
