There is a horrid music played all day at the place I work at. It's a Japanese style inn for foreigners, and the owner apparently thinks it's a good idea to play that awfully dull Japanese version elevator music 24 hours? I doubt any of the customer is pleased by it. I work 9 hours shift, and I feel miserable at my desk listening to that background ( Read more... )

Ohhh. Usually when I get annoying tunes stuck in my head, I go rock out to something really hard like White Zombie for awhile....

you REALLY SHOULD tell your boss about this. there is no excuse for you to suffer in silence. i know. i worked at a BK in sunset hills not too far from fenton. they had some of the worst top 40 adult CR*P played on an endless loop. god, did i hate it! not as badly as you, i think though. it didn't seem to bother me THAT badly...

(they played color me badd and mili vanilli and others of that mild pablum ilk on an endless loop...ugh)

ask. all he can say is no. it seems to be seriously bothering you.

Thanks, but telling my boss? If that's the music played at the inn, that probably means he thinks it's the most beautiful music in the world. XD And it seems other workers aren't bothered by it, so I am hoping I will get used to it and train my ears to not hear anything at all.

We have annoying radio-DJs on Radio 1 playing all day long at work. Argh! Why can't bosses remember they need to keep their worker's morale up?!
