My grandma likes to predict when I'm going to have my period. She usually predicts it right and boasts about her sixth sense. At first I thought it was funny, but when she does that every time, it annoys the hell out of me. That would irritate me as well. You should talk to your grandmother about this and just ask her to cut it out, that it makes you feel uncomfortable. Although it is impressive that she always gets it right, it's still very disrespectful.

I really don't mind too much about her doing that, but it just gets annoying to hear about her 'prediction' all the time ^^; I just don't understand why my period interests her so much! XD

Well if you think positively, she serves as an alarm to being a pad out on a heavy day. =)

Hahaha, can your grandmother predict other things as well? Like lottery numbers or whether who will win the world cup? Hahaha.

but, um, gramma i love you and everything, but you make me really mad and embarrassed and irritated when you do that! is there anyway you can politely tell her your feelings about that or is that impossible? i know how "rude" it can be considered to tell the truth in japan. the same is true here (to al lesser extent i think). whenever i try to tell my mom to stop doing something that is driving me bugshit as politely as possible, sometimes she'll get...frustrated or weepy about it. when she has no problem telling me what bugs her about me. it's not fair and hypocritical. it's not a one way street.

^^; well... I could tell her if I want to, but it seems she enjoys predicting about me and since I love her very much, it doesn't bother me too much. I wonder why stuff like my period interests her so much! *laughs*

Hmmm she probably remembers even without writing on the calendar. But even if she did, it'd still be hard to predict because I don't have the normal 28-days cycle like most people :O
