I didn't know so many people in US disliked Starbucks XD and all these facts you told me. But it figures, considering Americans are true coffee addicts :) I'll try the toffee nut one if it comes out in the winter X9

My girlfriend works at Starbucks so I get a lot of free drinks there. The reason you probably didn't like the coffee is because they don't have any flavored coffee, only natural blends, so a lot of it tastes earthy/like dirt. I personally like it when coffee tastes like dirt.

You probably had a Frappuccino. I like the Green Tea flavored ones!

Scorn? Do you mean scone maybe? Scorn means hatred toward someone/thing. But yeah, Starbucks has great pastries.

Others may laugh but I never go into those café because I usually don't know what to do once I enter one of those places. I don't even understand the menu. I'm a major chicken XD
Don't you think those freaky coffee cost too much? :P I need to go mix my van Houten cocoa in my lovely Hello Kitty cup! I'd also choose soda over a cup of Starbucks coffee ;)

you know what? i always stay outta range of the line or not look at the servers until i'm ready. i don't want my elbow jogged while i make my decision because i don't want to be pressured. then i walk up and order. yes, they ARE too expensive! i think they devalue the dollar with their prices. i don't have money to burn! and my parents taught me to value money... starbucks and barnes and nobles (buying is a sometimes thing. 2$ for a chocolate bar? i'm more likely to buy books or mags there. usually it's a chocolate chip cookie and a HC, left alone to cool down.
