The nausea's finally gone.
I hope this hot chocolate settles my stomach (+_+)
The poison medicine description warned me of a few side-effects including nausea, vomitting and other digestive troubles that may occur to 0.1~5%of the people. I guess I fell under that number. I felt nauseaus right after taking the pills and had to lie down for two ( Read more... )

Aspirin's been used for centuries and was first extracted from Willow bark. That's not so bad, is it? Its chemical structure isn't even that complex.

Many drugs too contain these crap but I'm talking about hazardous chemicals in everyday products like shampoo and shaving cream.

I didn't know you were taking medication as well. I went to the doctor yesterday and they increased my medicine from 5grams to 10grams... they're also thinking about putting me on other medicines... :(

No, I am not on medication.
It's just some pills a doc prescribed for a few days.

(O_o) Mimi, what did you need the meds for? Are you alright? Just your luck to get those "rare" side-effects. _^_
*sending you warm thoughts and well wishes* Hope the hot cocoa helped... Van Houten, right? ^.~

You know how I feel about meds and chemicals, right? >_< Evil... yes, aspirine too. I do not believe it is right to take aspirinine from the willow bark and use it, out of its natural balance, in the large quantities many people take it daily. Lucky for all those pharma-fans I have not succeeded in attaining world domination (yet). :P

...Yes, Van Houten, of course. ^.~

Oh, I knew you were the person

Comletely agreed. And Great to see you here!
Hehe, ^^; my list actually got interrupted by dreaded reports I better work on to meet the deadline. :( But I plan posting it here when I'm done :)
I don't find many people who are aware of this horror like us. The hormone disruptors scare me much more than the stories about mad cow disease...which folks in my country are going nuts over. o_O They should be more scared about the shampoo and skin care products they're applying to themselves everyday!
