Newwwts! I have two of them, of course, Logan and Kurt, both of whom are vying for escape at this very moment! Which involves sticking themselves to the glass wall as well as they can. Luckily, they can't climb it. :)
Criminology- I find it terribly fascinating, especially as I learn more about prisons, the mob, and various criminals. My interest runs more towards the organized crime, especially the Irish folks, and I do love reading about all the very strange characters of villainy there have been in the past- such as pirates!
Teaching- I want to become a college professor. Possibly of Irish history, and possibly as some sort of literature professor. It's the one job I can think of that I could stand. :) Besides being a famous novelist, of course.
Icon 1: I admit to totally being a CATS fan, and Mistoffelees is totally my favorite. So when I found that icon I just had to use it, because he's so cute. Leave me alone, I like my CATS

Brian Regan is an absolute GENIUS standup comedian. They have a lot of his stuff on youtube, but unfortunately deleted the video I wanted to link you to as an example.
Paul Hudson is one of the two main characters in How to Kill a Rockstar and is basically angsty sex personified in a rockstar.
Metro Pointe is the shopping center near my house, with the movies and the Barnes & Noble. It's where all the cool kids hang out when they're not as Disneyland. If you're going to see a movie, you're seeing it there.
That's a scene from Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind that has evolved into a wonderful inside joke with my friend Luisa. I only use it when commenting in her journal.
That, my friend, is two people having sex in a ball pin. It was late one night, at around 3 am, and when Kristine and I are tired, we are on crack. I only use it with her.
That's a scene from Neil Gaiman's movie Mirrormask. You should most definitely see it. It is beyond awesome.
CCC: Chattie Chat Chat, which was a chatroom for this group of people at The Site Fights. Which was an online -- thing to spread joy and cheer to people's guestbooks. We are a special bunch. Or -- were, I don't go much at all anymore. I should, rawr.
Quoi?: A CCCer phrase -- we never asked what. ALWAYS QUOI! French is superior, or sommat? XD
Moo: Well it could be the sound a cow makes, but a moo was, I believe, a very silly person. But a wonderfully silly one. If I'm remembering my CCC vocab correctly? (Jump in anytime, Gads XD)
One: Mm, Jekyll and Hyde. Jekyll is flailing about his experiment going awry and saying that he can't tell anyone ever. That's Jekyll from LXG, actually, but it's a musical quote XD
Two: WHY THAT IS THE FANTABULOUS JOHN CONSTANTINE! :D Looking very reverent, but he's being a sarcastic bitch.
Three: Sam from Life as a House. Flopping onto his mattress and being an emo little mofo. *fluffs him*
2. Ooh, that's an ancient one. I like Slytherins, I like pirates, I think we once had a plot where the two combined interestingly.
3. Brutus and Cassius! Someone said that, but I forget who. In any case, it is awesome and true.
Icon #1 is art from Vampirates, which is pretty much the most awesomely cracktastic webcomic ever, and involves Canadian vampire pirates stealing the the Cabot Strait ferry and going off to defeat the Last Saskatchewan Pirate (yes, that one), who is also a vampire. And it is just. So much win.
Icon #2 is Camille Desmoulins, who you must have heard of just by vague proximity to me for any length of time. That is his boywhore icon, and the semicolons are there thanks to a line in A Place of Greater Safey where Camille wonders why he ever bothered with sex, there is nothing in this life more satisfying than a
