So, there is a really good chance that i'm going to be let go of my job because they are doing major changes here at work. They might be cutting my department entirely, that means i won't have a job. It's new years day and it's already starting off on a good note. I finally got to see copper, it's been almost 2 weeks since I last saw him. my dad, as usual, cooked this extravaganza feast for xmas day. seafood galore. lobster, blue crabs, escargot, filet mignon, but, for some reason, i'm awake at 5am and can't get back to sleep. all i can think of is the damn lobster.

The strike has already ruined xmas for me. I was supposed to spend yesterday and today with Kyle to celebrate "his xmas" since he works on the actual holiday, but because of the strike, there is no way of getting in and out of brooklyn unless I want to spend $50 on a cab. I took George, the shuttle bus from my apartment to the Path train today, as I do every morning. Every now and again, I am reminded that its' a fucked up world. I found out that someone stole our new G5 computer out of our classroom today. It's so fucked up. $2700 down the drain.
