my mom asked me to pick up some legal papers today. I went to the man's office around 11ish and he explained wat it was to me.  In my hands were the finalized paperwork and copies of my parents divorce.  As of today, my parents are officially legally divorced. sad... 
jokingly, he said "haha now you can take her out for a drink", as if

i know this sounds stupid but i didnt even know yr parents were divorced...or in the process of divorcing.. :/

i wish my family would sit around and sing! but we're all tone-deaf so umm maybe not :P

This might sound insensitive not knowing what its like to have my parents divorce, but your family from what I saw seemed just as united, if not more so then my own family. The music brings you all together. You and your families singing was beautiful. It made me tear up...I even recorded it using my camera. hehehe

hahaha u caught me on camera?! lol its all good. i got a lot of that, that night. my dad's camera did not stop taping. anyway, you're right. i guess my family is united in a different way. i guess its the legallity that's getting to me. i know we can break it all down saying that the legal part is just paperwork n stuff (which is true) and we can argue that my family is just a legitimate family than anyone else's. i guess its that legal part that kind of, sort of validates us as being a family. it stupid really but its anything that says that we're not family that makes it hurt just a little =P wow, a whole new entry, or what? *muah*
