ryohei chiba + masuda takahisa
A local dancer met Ryohei while the boys were in Taiwan and blogged about it. The entry reaffirmed my reasons for loving leader so much. ♥
Because I accepted a case last Saturday so I needed to be at TBC on Friday night to choreograph the dance.
I didn't really want to ride the bicycle to TBC for practice since I had just finished taking the exam and it was raining hard, but I had to do it if I wanted to earn some money.
When I arrived at TBC I heard that w-inds. will be coming to rehearse the dance for their concert. I didn't believe it at first because it seemed impossible.
The practice went on till around 11:30pm. It was almost midnight and I was about to leave when I saw someone who looked so much like Ryohei.
After taking a better look, whoa shit it really was him. I was honestly speechless. Because I used to like him, I knew that he was also a bboy.
There were two bodyguards beside him, along with his manager and a translator. He also brought along one of their dancers and a cameraman who kept on making jokes.
While they were rehearsing, Bo Qing (柏青) said that we were to "circle" with them as it was already late and there were only a few bboy left.
Ah Gei (阿給, Xiao Ya (小雅), Bo Qing (柏青) and I joined them.
We danced for a long time and were quite tired so we decided to take a break and have a chat.
During the conversation, I learned that tonight was indeed supposed to be the rehearsal for the concert. However, for some unknown reason, Keita and Ryuichi couldn't make it.
He wasn't supposed to come but Ryohei forced himself to practice dancing for at least two hours each day.
So he still brought along a dancer with him to practice, even if he's going to open the concert tomorrow.
We discussed a lot of things related to dance. We also heard plenty of his opinions/ideas regarding dancing, being an artist, and some other things.
Honestly, Ryohei's very approachable. He doesn't act like a superstar at all.
He's extremely humble. After our conversation, he found out that I was only 19 and seemed a little surprised by it.
I believe he would become more incredible as a dancer given his perseverance and his passion for dance. However, I think that there's a limitation to time given that he's an artist so he doesn't have the luxury to freely dance and rehearse like us.
Before leaving TBC, he told his manager that he wished to invite us to their concert.
Wow! How lucky am I?
It's really wonderful! To be invited by an artist that I admire to attend his concert! It's really cool!
Two days later, after we finished accepting the case we headed out at once to Xin Zhuang Ti Yu Guan (新莊體育館). Before setting off, we didn't forget that it was Ryohei's birthday on the 18th so we bought a cake as a birthday present for him.
We're also very grateful to the assistant manager RYO. You're already very busy yet you still took us inside. You also took us backstage to see Ryohei after the concert. Because you looked extremely busy that day, we're really sorry. :)
It was also because of Ryohei that we got to meet Ryuichi and Keita (he's really tall and muscular). We are also very thankful to Ryohei. You really are a wonderful and hardworking artist, as well as an incredible dancer and bboy.
Looking forward to your next appearance!
By the way, w-inds.' new single sounds good.
