I dunno what kind of metal my badge is made of but I use toothpaste to shine it up. I might try the baking soda idea (thanks Marie!) seems like it'd be easier to clean off when done.

You could probably pick up some Bon Ami from the grocery store if its actually brass!

Nah it's silver colored, probably cheap steal or galvanized tin or somesuch crap
