I got my implant taken out on Monday night. It was okay. Hurt a bit the next day, and I am going to have a little scar, but I managed to get by without needing any stitches. Yay!
Tony came along for moral support and managed to keep a smile on his face this time, rather than the shocked look of horror he had when he watched them put the thing in in

You should definitely wait until after the engagement party before you even think about organising a birthday one as well, in case you decide you'd like a weekend off to recover instead of a birthday party. Or you could go the easy way and have cake and your choice of movies at the movie night. Either way there'll be presents at some point. :)

I'm so glad you guys are enjoying having the bunny about. Korinne suggested that you guys should check the local paper to see if anyone's reported him missing there. (The council only keeps a record of found microchipped pets, but if it's microchipped surely you'd be able to find the owner without the council's help?)
