Today has been very relaxing so far. I slept in, then read manga in bed with both cats curled up on me, purring. T returned from errands an hour later, and we fixed leftover Thai food for lunch and watched vol. 7 of the Saiyui Reload anime. Now we're watching vol. 6 of Gensomaden Saiyuki (I have completelycorrupted her!!) and working on the ( Read more... )

Glad you're having such a relaxing weekend. What you described sounds ideal. I'm finally near the end of the Gensomaden Saiyuki series after I forget how many years now. Hopefully, with Reload being shorter, it won't take me this long to watch!

Have fun for the rest of your Sunday :)

Yeah, I think I really needed a day of doing essentially nothing after running around frantically for the past several weekends. Glad you're finally getting around to Saiyuki- what do you think? T really liked the Homura arc, as did I. Reload definitely takes less time to watch. Have you seen the movie?

The rest of Sunday was relaxing and delightful. Hope your weekend was a good one!

Well, you find out later (in the Burial arc just starting in the manga) how Nii got the Sanzo title without the chakra. There's a secular process as well as a theological(? is that the right word -- maybe it should be 'divine') process involved there too.

Nii is a bad, bad man. *shivers*

Ah, good to know this gets explained. I should read vol. 3 of Reload that's sitting on my shelf. Makes sense that there are both secular and theological elements to it all- Minekura's plots are pretty complex and philosopical sometimes.

Eeek- do I even *want* to know what Nii does in this arc? I agree, Nii is VERY bad- one of the best villains I've ever seen!

Hope you're doing well~.

I'm glad that you had a relaxing day after running around so much. You really deserve some downtime, and snuggling w/ cats is one of the best ways to do it. That's been my priority the last few Fridays and Ban-chan's been pretty happy.

Thank you! It was a good use of my Sunday, I think. I usually feel antsy and icky if I don't get anything done, but I've been running around so much lately, that sleeping, watching TV, sewing, and cuddling with cats seemed like a good way to "recharge". I'll be productive this week instead. I'm glad you've been resting more lately too, and I'm sure Ban-chan's happy about your change in schedule! He's such a cozy lap cat.

Well, it's just this week that things are a wee bit calm. I've actually two whole days off! Next week is gonna be a doozy, though, con time, yaoi panel and Tosca!! So wish you were out next weekend for that. *hugs*

Anymore, I come home from the grams on Friday and just collapse on the couch. Ban-chan very much approves!!!

Sounds like you really needed the 'recharge' day. You should schedule as many as possible while you still have the kitties to curl up w/.

Next weekend sounds great- a yaoi panel and my favorite opera! Wish I could be there for that, too! Good luck on the panel- please let me know how it goes.

Yay for relaxing Friday routines- life should be more like that. Grams and kitties are wonderful. *hugs*

I'm definitely spending as much time with the cats as I can before they leave on the 31st. I'll really miss them. But I have lots to do myself, as well- need to find a balance. Aerin's solution is to curl up on my arms as I'm working on the computer. It makes typing a bit difficult, but I'm managing.
