I have some problems with "flickr".. or with LJ... well, whatever...there´s a problem somewhere that doesn´t allow me to post pictures on here anymore. This fact leads to me being even less motivated to posting here.

nur falls ihr es nicht wisst, will nicht als die obergescheite wirken - aber mit "bild einfügen" wenn ihr einen eintrag macht, könnt ihr ganz normal von eurem desktop bilder reinladen in euren beitrag

das habe ich schonmal versucht, klappt aber leider nicht immer so wirklich...woran immer das liegen mag. Hast Du einen bezahlten Account?

nein, einen ganz normalen, bei mir geht das!

du kannst sie aber auch ganz leicht von deinem desktop mit "foto einfügen" reinkopieren. ich hab das auch immer mit photobucket gemacht, man muss aber nicht...

Um ehrlich zu sein hab ich ÜBERHAUPT keinen Bock mehr, ´ne extra Seite zu benötigen, um erst da meine Bilder hochzuladen. Das ist sowas von lästig.

Naja, scheint ja jetzt aber auch über LJ direkt zu klappen ... müsste ich auch mal probieren. Ich geh' halt immer noch den Umweg ...

I only use flickr to host pictures, never to post them on here, I have photobucket for that.

Sooo, I see you have solved it somehow, but I meant to come and tell you how I post mine from Flickr since that is all I use! I never use the rich text editor, always the basic and just do it by hand. Much less trouble and faster. When you go to Flickr, you can right click the picture to get the size links. Use the URL from them to post. I use Medium 500 if there are several pictures, or 640 if it is just one so they aren't so big.

I will explain how to get the URL just in case! On Windows, you can right click and select the image properties and copy from there. Firefox is easier (and I always recommend it!) just right click and choose "copy image location". Then go to LJ and use this code, but replace the ( with < and ) with >

It is easier for me to remember by thinking it is just short for image source, but I type it all the time so it has gotten very easy! This way you can put pictures in locked posts or use locked pictures. I think otherwise the pictures have to be public which I don't like.
