So Saturday afternoon my cousin and aunt came from Bellingham and we all headed over for my first concert at the Gorge for Keith Urban!!
Opening was Miranda Lambert. She has two singles out, young artist, that kind of thing.
She was pretty enjoyable and she said to the crowd "I know y'all are waiting for Keith so I can tell ya that he's just as cute in person. And he smells REAL good." Which elicited a bunch of cheers from the audience.
Then there was a break where my cousin Ana and I took the stereotypical "its us at the concert" picture!
So then Keith came on!!
And he played on the floor
And played the Banjo
And rocked out on his guitar
While Ana was enjoying it
And he had us sing along
We were a lot closer than at the Paramount(my mom and aunt were even closer and SWEAR that he looked straight at them while singing "Making Memories of Us") Overall I really enjoyed the concert, there wasn't a bad moment. Except a really touchy couple right in front of us... And the stupid t-shirt I have barely fits..its kind of tight, but oh well.
So then we drove home at got there at 2am or 3am, I was tired so I didn't notice. And then this morning we heard that there was a rock slide that killed three 28 year old women in snoqualmie pass 10-15 minutes after we had gone through. So it could have been us, and it probably was people that were at the concert. If we hadn't have suv'd it through the parking lot and cut the line we might have been hit.
