yep, the original tagline is back. That's because tomorrow I go to the doctor and find out what she learned from the nodes she sent out to be tested. One was positive last Friday. I'm afraid of what the others reveal. I guess that's natural. I just hate the unknown. I know that chemo is coming, based on the one node. I know that it will most likely ( Read more... ) -

and sometimes cancer hurts. Plain and simple. It hurts. I REALLY need ice right now, since it's my only option tonight. So far, the ice pack is only getting in my way as I try to type ( Read more... ) -

I am 44, and I was supposed to be starting my life over after a divorce that devastated me. Instead, I was diagnosed with breast cancer on 7/15/11, hormone responsive, in my milk ducts and infiltrating the breast tissue. The mammogram didn't find it, I did. There was a lump in May. The fire was 60-+% contained according to the noon n ews. The winds kicked up, and I began hearing the helicopters around 3, but all is quiet for now. I woke up to blue skies and just a hint of the smell of smoke in the air. No ash flurries today.
