Im speaking about certainty of the external world. Can we be absolutely certain that the sky is blue? Math and science is just our interpretation of what is. Phenomena in science such as gravity, entropy, potential, and kinetic energy, etc, are all things that are only expressed in number form. We still dont know what these things are and where they come from. All we can do is measure them. As a result, this leads us to question our methods of obtaining knowledge. We are forced to go back and question the fundamental questions for knowledge. Can we know? How can we know? Finally, can we be certain we know? THese are the questions that i want to discuss and would love to hear what everyone's take on this. I hope i elaborated enough.__If u have anymore questions let me know._____
You should watch the movie What the Bleep Do We Know? It reminded me of this entry. My reaction to both were about the same. Sheerly dumbfounded. I'm not sure if i'm actually smart enough to even begin to analyze what you brought up. Which i believe the movie kind of adressed, but i could be wrong. Either way i think it would interest you.
