Okay, I know I have a lot to say. But for some reason the order of things that I've done in the past few days is becoming fuzzy, so...in no particular order,
.
I Went to Sea World today. Yay! I pet Cow-Nosed Rays (so cute!) and dolphins and fed a very persistent sea lion while dodging maniacal sea gulls. (You're rats with wings!!) Ryan almost got injured by a low-flying gull. We saw penguins of all species, puffins, and polar bears. I love polar bears, my favorite animal if I had to choose. We saw lots and lots of fish which I won't even begin to name and we watched the Shamu show. You know, I've been to Sea World a few times and I don't think the Shamu show has changed at all since the very first time I saw it, oh, so many years ago. Which makes me wonder...do Orcas live that long? Is it still the same Shamu or is it Shamu Jr. or Shamu the Third?? I should investigate this mystery... Before we went to Sea World, however, Ryan and I attended a very eventful and quite enjoyable game of hockey. Ryan's brother, Dusty, plays for the Mariners so we went to show him, and his lovely friend, Chris, our support. I believe we will be attnding more of these games too because I enjoyed it so much. The only hitch about going to this game was that it was in Escondido which is, for those of you who are not geologically inclined, about 30 minutes north-east of San Diego. Therefore we had to leave early for a 9:15am game-time. We left at 6:30am, to be exact, after buying McDonald's breakfast and filling up the gas tank. We arrived at 8:15am. I cannot believe how quickly we got there. Ryan had to have been hauling some serious ass and I just didn't notice because I was delerious. I got about 2 and a half hours of sleep last night because I closed the store, didn't get out of there until 12:30am, talked with Danny outside while I smoked my lungs out until 1:00am, took Danny home because his car is still sans engine, went home and finished my laundry, packed my bags to head to Ryan's house for the night, realized I hadn't gotten the mail and knew Frank needed his paycheck so I turned around and got the mail, returned home to drop off said mail, and then finally left and arrived at Ryan's. (Whew, that was a long-ass sentence...) I did not get to Ryan's until 2:45am. I hate how long it takes to do simple shit sometimes. I didn't really fall asleep until 3:15am and then woke up to the alarm at 5:15am. Oh, man...so that's only 2 hours of sleep...gah. Let me tell you, I was in dire need of caffiene this morning, Annie can attest to that. And now, for some reason, I can't bring myself to go to bed. Oh well. I guess that's it! My mind has gone blank!
