I saw a new (to me) episode of SVU! Some girl got beaten up by her boyfriend and lost her baby, then they find out she had been trying to get an abortion but the doc was an evangelical nutjob and delayed her procedure until she was too far along. So her boyfriend beat her with a lamp. As one does.

The actors are fun to watch, b/c Mariska Hargitay is trying so hard to overcome her mom's legacy, and Christopher Meloni humped a kitchen appliance in "Wet Hot American Summer."
