our feast was awesome. the turkey turned out moist and juicy and i took every tiny piece of flesh off that bird. we filled two casserole dishes. today i will put them in baggies. one full of white meat will go to the awesome friend who donated the bird to us

Have you ever read Bridget Jones's Diary? Your post about "self-help" books being like a "religion" is exactly what she writes about. You and her have sooooo much in common, even though she is supposed to be a fictional character.
Kelly and I are stretching our Canadian dollars as well for our our big trip in November. We are super broke at the moment. We are making our own bread more because we need to rather than for the fun of it. It's Kraft dinner and soups for us this week. So, you guys are not alone.
