People strive to change the world and try to make it a better place. While that is accepted as possible and there are programs and certain ethics to assist that dream, then how come it's not okay to try to change a person? - that they have to change on their own free will. I think it's ok to change a person. Particularly since it's almost impossible to change the world without first changing individual people.
I think that the idea that it's not ok to change a person is only accepted along the lines of changing them so that they are "cooler" or whatever, but they aren't really "better" in any way. Forcing superficial changes, I mean.
But I don't think you'd find many people in this world who would say that it's not ok to convince someone not to be racist.
