Valentine’s Day and anniversaries = two days of the year when people spend large amounts of money, to show/prove their love to their partner. 1)It’s predictable and boring. Romance should be spontaneous, not a chore. 2) You can't buy love.

Good call on holding your Valentine's Day ground, Meggie! And may I add to your two:
3) If you love someone, you should love them EVERY day. All year. And not wait around for any particular date to show it.
P.S. Boys are stupid anyway. :*(
Got you babe. If I were planning on celebrating such a wretched holiday as that one I'd ask you to be my Valentine, but NO! Not happening, kiddo!
