Simplicity

Oh, the life of an adult: managing accounts, filing taxes (city income, city residential?), depositing funds, balancing, timing chains, stop lights, wages, tip reporting, signing in, logging off.  At some point in my early adulthood, or perhaps in my late childhood, I decided I wouldn't mind being a nun and living in a convent.  Is that funny to ( Read more... )

I hear ya, sis! I'm going through the same things...

So, it's some bit of synchronicity that I read this, which is all I'm about lately and hearing Thoreaus words echo back at me... Funny enough, one thing about Thoreau (I just have to keep mixing him in:) is that he has a whole THEME on simplicity.... that's what he was about!

I just love your line "if I was connected to the loved ones in my life enough to receive a birthday card, I may as well start paying my bills again" ... All or nothing. It certainly is how it seems and how I feel as well. But I guess this is where our creativity kicks in... I hope!!
