At one point during my childhood, I saw a movie that has served as basis for a fantasy of mine.  I don't remember the name of the movie, or the plot, and in fact it may have been a tv show.  It's either Doc Hollywood, Field of Dreams or a Quantum Leap episode.  Perhaps it's a conglommeration of all three.  My fantasy includes a two story house,

It may have been a clipping, but it also may have been a floor plan. During freshman and sophomore year I tutored three young boys. They lived in a massive house in Old Orcutt, in a ritzy subdivision (Eagle Rock?). Their father was the SLO County coroner. The mom was really into decorating and kept several coffee table books out on that subject. One of those books was filled only with sketches of homes and floor plans to take to your architect. I copied three out of the book (she had a copier) and still have them today. They're ridiculous; like, 6,000 sq ft and now I think: forget about paying for it, how about cleaning it?!
