It is another Monday morning.  My Monday mornings are becoming noticeably darker and colder.  As I type this, the office heater is struggling to bring the room temperature up from 50ºF to my desired 68ºF.  I have yet to acquiesce and turn my home heater on, lest I be saddled with a gas bill larger than $35.  I'm not going to be able to hold off for

As far as saving clothes for tax purposes, do you itemize your deductions? This would only make sense if you owned your home, as mortgage interest makes up most of the contributions on the schedule A, (unless you have ungodly amounts of medical expenses, and even then you can only claim up to 7.5% of your combined yearly income).

On the postive side, you can claim all the milage from moving (or the actual cost of moving, whichever is more) on your 2007 return.

Yes, we own the damn house, so we deduct the interest. There's a schedule .... we've been claiming charitable donatations for years now, and now have to change the way we note what is given.

No, no job lined up just yet as we're still a little unsure where we'll be exactly and when. It's not going to be difficult for me to find one. After all, lots of places need cute, funny, intelligent and capable receptionists. Or, maybe I'll go back into escrow. Who knows, who knows...
