As many of you know, I do not have internet connection home. Consequently, all my electronic-communication is done during my day job. What does this say about my day job? This says that I don't have much of a job to do during the day. I'm left alone for hours at a time, left to fight the urge to get up and leave, left to (lately) address ( Read more... )

Bet you miss the I.E. now.

I live literally on Foothill (I am assuming there is only 1 street named Foothill in all of the Inland Empire) which is the "historic" route 66. I live in Upland though, and by the sheer virtue of its name is a much more snooty place than Claremont.

I have a perfect view of Mt. Baldy which has snow this time of year, and the leaves on the trees are starting to turn which is making for a very colorful mess.

You have no idea, Thomas. How absolutely wonderful to think of you in the same radius as my entire family! They are all in Chino, and I can now take much more pleasure in picturing the area knowing you are so close. I know Upland, and Mt. Baldy, and Foothill so well......

Where's your work? What routes to you take to get there? Describe your place to me.

I drive on foothill to haven, then take haven all the way down.

Chino is where the $ is if you are in industrial real estate. I only have anecdotal evidence and no hard numbers yet, but I would imagine that you could make a metric fuck ton of money if you owned large tracts of undeveloped space next to rail yards.

Hopefully your family doesn't live next to the rail-road. That is where they put the section 8's.
