You NEED to see Friday the 13th! And Nightmare on Elm Street (at least the originals! They're classics!) And although you said you haven't seen Japanese horror, you have in a sense seen one, if you've seen The Grudge or The Ring (They're American renditions of Japanese horror films).

I agree by the way - candycorn DOES=sickness! I gag just thinking about them.
